It all began with a move.

Call Sheilah! began when Sheilah Sable, (she/her), experienced firsthand the seemingly endless tasks of caring for aging parents. With a Master's in Organizational Management and skills honed in the not-for-profit sector, Sheilah became a go-to resource. An established community organizer (and lifelong yenta), word spread. Where’d your mother go after her hip replacement quickly turned into, “Can you take my mother to PT?”

Referrals came and Sheilah’s customer base expanded to people of all ages. In 2015, she crunched numbers, wrote a business plan, and took a leap of faith … 

Today, Call Sheilah! is one of New York State’s top Move In/Move Out Management and Personal Concierge firms.

Katie, our Energizer Bunny

Katie Abatiello, (she/her), is a seasoned member of the Call Sheilah! team.  She has got mad skills, great energy and is “freakishly” strong. Somehow, she can organize even the most chaotic spaces. 

She found her way to this work through personal and professional life experience: a passion for organizing, thoughtful parenting, an education in event planning, hospitality and tourism. She has had an array of experiences, including the execution of various projects, all with multiple moving parts, which we love.  In addition to creativity, efficiency and just really smart, Katie learned by home schooling five children, and made sure that the home school curriculum included organizing, downsizing, and decluttering on a consistent basis.

She has an energy and thoughtfulness that make her uniquely positioned for this work and is a natural fit for this team.
